Update on Filming/Editing

Filming for the first part of the film has taken place and the green screen removed and a background has been created. A non-diegetic logo, time and headline has also been placed over the top. The footage of the terrorists has been reduced quality so it appears more hand made.

Bits and Pieces

Here is the staff only sign that will be displayed. The picture will say (on a seperate sheet) Colonel Derek says STAFF ONLY. This will be used when Max enters the building, so that we know he is going in the restricted way.

It is of course a parody of Colonel Saunders, the face of KFC.

The second image is the BACK of the chicken bucket. This is again, a 'mick-take' of FLC but also of KFC.

The third image is the map that will appear in the film. It outlines the three FLC's to be bombed and shows that the group do have some basic idea of planning ahead.

Background to news report

Background idea for the news report. It of course has to look genuine, so I took conventions from other news backgrounds.

Most are usually blue with the breaking news bit in red, so I did this on mine. Also they have the logo in the corner and look plain as if not to distract the viewer from the news reporter.

Inspiration

4 Lions is the inspiration of my film. This scene, although unused in the film, is what my terrorist video is based on.

Change to Script

To make life easier, I've eliminated a character that wasn't necessary. Derek Holmes was the manager of FLC who was to be interviewed on the News.

Because he is no longer present in the Film, I've changed the script. Page 1 and 2 have now been changed:

Filming 14th January - 21st January

Billy will play my news reporter, instead of the woman.
The filming will take place Wednesday 26th January in the green screen room.

He will be wearing a lot of make-up and a shirt and tie.

Filming for the canteen scene will take place on Friday 21st January.
I require a backpack.
